This class is a Christ-centered journey through the Old Testament from Leviticus to Esther, designed to help participants see how every part of Scripture ultimately points to Jesus Christ. Through law, sacrifice, covenant, kingship, deliverance, and God’s hidden providence, the Old Testament steadily prepares the way for the Savior at the center of God’s redemptive plan.
Rather than approaching these books as disconnected stories or moral lessons, this study traces the unifying story of redemption showing how priests, sacrifices, judges, kings, redeemers, and deliverers all anticipate and find their fulfillment in Christ. Participants will discover how even familiar narratives reveal a deeper gospel purpose when read through the lens of Jesus as Prophet, Priest, and King.
This class stands alone and requires no prior Bible study or previous courses. Whether you are new to Scripture or have studied the Old Testament for years, this course is designed to be accessible, discussion-driven, and spiritually formative. Each session invites participants to engage Scripture together, connect Old Testament themes to New Testament fulfillment, and grow in confidence that the whole Bible tells one unified story, God’s saving work through Jesus.
